Even though Paramore’s members hail from Tennessee, the three-piece pop rock group has plenty of ties to Florida.

No, not because lead singer Hayley Williams’ hair matches the hue of a juicy Florida orange, but because of this:

That’s right — orange haired goddess Williams is engaged to New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert. New Found Glory is from Coral Springs, Fla.

Talk about a pop-punk wedding.

The band’s latest self-titled album came out in April 2013 and their fourth single, “Ain’t it Fun,” still gets plenty of air time on the radio. Last year, Paramore also released a deluxe version of the album featuring 29-tracks.

Paramore started out in 2004 as a four-piece pop punk band (they’ve since shuffled members and become a three-piece). Their debut album “All We Know is Falling” hit shelves the following year, featuring singles like “Pressure” and “Emergency.”

What really put the band on the map was their explosive 2007 album, “Riot!” That album played host to one of their highest performing singles ever, “Misery Business.” It was their first song to make the Billboard Hot 100 and has forever been immortalized by a high school scenario music video where they take down the evil fake girl (Williams pulls out her fake boobs and they wipe off her caked on makeup. It’s super moving), and tons of bad karaoke renditions — we can’t all have the brilliantly piercing pipes Williams has.

Eight years later, Paramore has had four Grammy nominations, one win, and 11 songs to hit the Billboard Hot 100 list.  So it seems like the group was the right choice for Thursday’s headline, right? I think the safe answer here is yes:
