The Girl You Can’t Hate: Tori Lynn

Boca Raton based pop singer Tori Lynn is like that girl in high school you wanted to hate because she seemed so perfect, but you couldn’t help but like.

The 18-year-old pop singer has songs such as “Young and Free,” which sounds like your typical EDM club banger, but carries lyrics about partying with your friends and making sure your lipstick is on point. And her song, “Mama Said,” sounds like a stripped down Miley-Cyrus-y, pop ballad. Basically, Lynn’s music is like a PG-13 Ultra Music Festival, all coming from a girl who could walk into the slew of South Florida high school proms happening next week, and get crowned queen.

In her spare time, Lynn volunteers to perform at charity events like county fairs and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She does it in honor of who she calls her “biggest influence and inspiration,” her younger brother, Glenn.

Glenn battles a rare and life threatening disease called Cystinosis and Lynn uses her platform to help spread the word.

Part of who I am & what I do is for him,” Lynn said in a Facebook post. “My goal is to get Cystinosis more well known world wide & hopefully in doing that maybe there will be a cure for it one day.”

When she’s not opening for Jason Derulo at SunFest, Lynn can be found performing at South Florida spots like World of Beer and Hard Rock Miami.

Can’t hate her, can you? It’s cool. Neither can we.
