30 Apr 5 Bow Ties Questlove Should Wear When The Roots Perform

Though hip-hop/funk group The Roots have been around since the late 80’s, the group gained a whole new fan base when it started backing up Jimmy Fallon — first on Late Night and then following him to The Tonight Show.

If you’ve ever caught a glimpse of the group on Fallon’s show, besides seeing its awesome musical ability, you might have also seen its drummer, Questlove, and his funky bow ties.

With that in mind, I’ve taken it upon myself to hook the drummer and DJ up with a list of possible bow tie choices for the band’s Saturday SunFest set. So here are five that might make the cut:

1. An Ode to Florida

This bow tie is available in different Florida university colors and features embroidery on the right side of our lovely state.

2. Baby, You’re a Firework

Part of the magic of SunFest is the fireworks show at the end of Sunday night’s performances. After five days of music along the Intracoastal, we light up the night and this bow tie would serve as the perfect tribute.

3. OJ All Day

Florida is all about our state fruit, the orange. This bow tie would show Questlove what we’re all about.

4. Rain or Shine, All the Time

SunFest is supposed to have beautiful weather this year. But in honor of its ‘rain or shine’ dedication, here’s an appropriate bow tie.

5. Flamin-go-with-this-one

The perfect mix of quintessential Florida and adorable, this bow tie would work perfectly for The Roots’ SunFest set.
