Festival Food for Thought

Recently, there are two lineups being released for festivals. The bands, of course, and recently– the food. Festivals like Coachella and Austin City Limits are making big moves to highlight delicious restaurants and culinary creations local to the area. This year, SunFest will continue this exciting trend by debuting two new food courts.

The Diner will open at the south end of the festival, near the JetBlue Stage. This 1950s-themed pop up will serve up ice cream, pretzels, nachos and more. This is going to be an experience within the festival! Expect soda jerk hats and refreshing malts.

On the opposite end of Flager Drive, be sure to stop by the new Fueling Station. This new area will feature eats and drinks to keep your hunger at bay throughout the day.

And of course, the Eatery will still be available for grab-and-go bites.

The new menus have been re-imagined by David Sabin, organizer of the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival, and his talented wife Lindsay Autry, executive chef at West Palm’s Regional Kitchen and Public House. Together, they continue to expand SunFest’s foodie scene.

You didn’t need me to tell you to come hungry– all that sea-side dancing will work up an appetite. However, I will encourage you to be on the lookout for cheeky, fun names too– The Diner will have a “Hey Man, Nice Taco,” an ode to Filter. While you’ll see double g’s while ordering corn doggs for our friend Snoop.

See you tomorrow, friends! It’s going to be the best week!
