04 May The New Kid on the Block: Marc E. Bassy
Last year at SunFest, G-Eazy took over the Ford stage with a headlining performance that had the crowd dancing nonstop.

So for SunFest 2017, it was only fitting that one of his collaborators got a chance to shine.
Marc E. Bassy is a 30-year-old songwriting mastermind who has written for artists including Whiz Khalifa and CeeLo Green.
Now, the artist is taking center stage, singing his own songs. One of his singles, “You & Me,” which features G-Eazy, peaked at no. 52 on the Billboard charts and has over 200 million streams on Spotify. Not too shabby.
Most recently, Bassy accompanied G-Eazy and A$ASP Ferg on the When It’s Dark Out tour.
Get a sample of what Bassy’s about here with his track “Dirty Water,” and be sure to catch more tonight as he opens for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
IF YOU GO
Marc E. Bassy performs on Thursday, May 4 on the Ford stage at 7 p.m.
